Dawn Rowley is raising money for The Francis Crick Institute
In memory of Alan Hardy
The Crick is a biomedical discovery institute researching the biology underlying human health. We explore why disease develops and to translate discoveries into new ways to prevent, diagnose and treat illnesses such as cancer, heart disease, stroke, infections and neurodegenerative diseases.

Story

After being diagnosed with Lymphoma in Summer 2018, Alan was clear of Lymphoma but still receiving Immunotherapy when he contracted COVID-19 in early October 2021.

After bravely fighting the disease for nearly 5 weeks he passed away, because there are currently no treatments appropriate for him available to help.

The Crick Institute are partnering with Cancer Research UK to research such treatments, specifically for people in Alan's situation.
